Even when the harder I try the more I fail,
I won’t quit!
It’s because no one else can feel this pain
That I won’t quit!
It’s because I have to try time and again
That I won’t quit!
It’s because I know no gain with no pain
I won’t quit!
Not that I know not how hard it is,
Not that I forget how heavy it is,
Not that I forget how mythical it is,
Not that I feel I have you to please,
It’s just that to think of “quit” I freeze!
And that I have heard many say;
Losers never have to stay!
It’s because I am not yet where I need to be,
But not where I used to be,
That I won’t quit!
It’s because God picks me up when I fail,
And He never lets me to trail,
That I won’t quit!
It’s because I have more reasons to smile,
Than troubles to steal mine a smile,
That I won’t quit!
Not that I have less the challenges,
Not that I have power to stop changes,
Not that I will stop the storm coming,
Not that I will put out the fire burning,
It’s just that I’m bigger than the threat!
And that when you think me not fit,
It’s when I feel I will go through it!
And for that I won’t quit!
