Success is about implementing and executing brilliant ideas. It is about achieving specific goals in your plan to success. Success is about your determination to achieve your goals despite all the challenges you will encounter along the journey to success. Success is not about having resources as resources are not a prerequisite for success. The most successful people in the world have tended to approach their missions with determination , hard work and differently from the rest. They have avoided cut and paste approach to succeeding in life! You must have the ability to think, analyze and decide in order to succeed. It is about being innovative and creative in your journey of life.
Designing and building your own highway
To succeed in life you have to design and build your own highway with right safeguards and road signs to take you to your mission. Each one of us has his/her own mission hence the need for your own personal highway. You can only share a highway if you are sharing a mission with someone else. In success missions and highways are never shared. You cannot succeed through cutting and pasting someone’s else mission and highway.
Master of own destiny
You are a master of your destiny and the world rotates around you as far as your personal success is concerned. You are an architect and engineer of personalised highway. You can move at own speed under the guidance of your personalised highway code. However you have to answer three basic questions before you design and construct your highway. Do you know where you are and why you are where you are? Where do you want to go and for what purpose? Lastly but not least, which means will take you where you want to go?
Where are you?
Do you know where you are in your journey to success? This looks an easy question but sometimes difficult to answer because a number of people do not know where they are on the highway to success. They also find it difficult to give a correct answer of why they are where they are. You are where you are by choice as much as you may not like to hear it. You have failed or succeed in life because of your personal choice.
Why were you created?
You cannot build a highway to take you to unknown place. In life we move from point A to point B. For sure you cannot move from point A to point B unless you know the existence of point B.
A good number of people do not know exactly why they were created and they therefore do not know what to do and where to go. The world would be a good place to live if we all know why we were created because we will all know what to do and where to go. Many cannot move from their current state because they do not know what they are meant to do. I have meant a CEO who says he was created to manage other people’s businesses. As far I know this individual has not successfully managed any business. The mission to manage other people’s businesses is quite vague to achieve.
