Lord I thank you for waking me up
I thank you Lord for your mercies
You created everything around me
Living and none living things
You put the resources at my disposal to use them for your glory
Lord I thank you for protection during the night
You shielded me from the dangers of the night
You allowed me to enjoy a quiet sleep
You gave positive dreams to enable prepare for today
You daily remind me that my journey is still on
You remind me that you are always with me
Lord the challenges of this world are many
But I know Lord with you on my side there is nothing impossible
The problems will melt away when they see me in your company
Therefore do not abandon me today as I continue with journey
Keep me on the right path
Lord let your light shine on me
And let whatever I do today be for your glory
