Eternal Father and Almighty heavenly King
We thank you for the wonderful day and for the gift of our lives
We thank you Lord for your unconditional love
We thank you Father for you are our greater provider
Lord we pray in a special way all women and men, boys and girls who are homeless
We pray for those sleeping under bridges, on park benches, in doorways or bus stations
We pray for those who can only find shelter for the night but must wander in the daytime
We pray for the broken families because they could not afford to pay the rent.
We pray for r those who have no place to keep possessions that remind them who they are.
We pray for those who are afraid and hopeless.
We pray for those who have been betrayed by our social safety net.
Lord shower the affected people with wisdom to enable them to think of practical ways out of their situations
We pray for those of us with warm houses and comfortable beds
that we not be lulled into complacency and forgetfulness
Lord, help us to see your face in the eyes of every homeless person we meet
so that we may be empowered through word and deed.
We pray that our leaders come up with solutions to the homeless people of this world .Aswe rest tonight Lord, speak to us and give us a kind heart so that we can be compassionatedto the suffering and homeless.
Protect us this night and guide us in finding solution for the homeless
